[engl] 2016, BALTIMORE, USA……. Years after frequent attempts of AGATHOCLES trying to get into the USA for making a tour, being refused entrance into the land of freedom several times in the 90's and last time in 2015, AGATHOCLES managed to get into the "country of freedom and hope" in summer 2016. Wasting no time and playing a show everyday, AGATHOCLES also got the chance, on a very hot afternoon in July 2016, to make a full studio session of 38 songs with JOE WARKENTIN doing all the vocals and second guitars. Imagine the combination of a heated up (near 40 degrees) small studio in Baltimore, with friends around, no sleep, all adrenaline, the "we wanna make noise now" spirit and the plan of playing a show that same night… The result: a massive driller killer sensation of old AGATHOCLES cognac poured with the finess of ARCHAGATHUS whiskey and the bulldozing bass gin of MORTICIAN. STIR IT WELL AND YOU GET THIS ALBUM !!! The LP is housed in an inside/outside cover design and contains a huge full colored booklet.

[engl] This is the "Thanks for your hostility" album which came out in 1996 on Morbid Records, now re-pressed on vinyl for the first time, in the original then released as a single LP this re-release now comes as a double LP with another recording from the same year. The first 29 tracks were recorded and mixed between September and October 1996 at the Soundshape Studios in Arendonk, Belgium, the bonus session, the bomb Brussels session. Recorded live in April 96 for the national Belgian radio station. Similar to the English John Peel session, there was also a broadcaster in Belgium that then brought something closer to his audience. The double LP comes in the noble Gatefoldcover in the Inside out design, the entire artwork has been revised and expanded with current liner notes.

[engl] Re-release on CD of their 3 first LPs, the split with Lunatic Invasion, Averno and "Suppose it was you"... Essential pieces of grind noise!!! I can confess that the early Agathocles recordings are my favorites. This LP contains all their early hits (their early hits are all-time hits!) with this special "rehearsal" sounding really not "clean" at all and great! The good old times of real grindcore! The second part has alot of live tracks, and contrary to "Razor sharp dagger" & "Black clouds determinate" live bonus tracks, this live material is not boring, without a big cheezy sound, just what grind needz: detuned guitars, blasting drums and simply grunt-roared or screamed vocals: what do you want more? Judge by the track listing, there are only great tracks! "Fog", "The accident" or "Big one": cult! cult! cult! The third part contains also live material from 92 and 93 recorded on different place in europe. The CD re- issue comes with lyrics and liner notes.

[engl] November 2018 the three bands on the road together in Finland, a total of 39 songs were recorded at the gig in tampere, ingenious soundboard quality, which still doesn't have to do without the roughness and atmosphere. Pure live enjoyment. The enclosed booklet (with liner notes, rare pictures and stories) allows you to experience the musical inferno even more intensely.

[engl] The Agathocles material was especially recorded for this one-sided split LP, sound wise the four songs sound like the early 80's hardcore stuff. including Flemish lyrics New recordings from CAPITAL SCUM since years, the band decided to record 6 new tracks some old early Eighties songs that had never been recorded properly before. Some of them exist on old demo's and live tapes. They all have this great Eighties vibe we all love so much. There's only one song "Burn The Witch" thats a song from a side project I once did named Blood Curse. that was (Pies) on vocals, Larrie (CS) on guitar, Dirk (ex Eardamage) on bass and Hugo (ex CPD) on drums. The band was a Misfits meets Discharge horror Punk thingy and only existed for 2 years (2008-2010). The amazing cover artwork was done by good friend, tattoo artist and punk-rocker Jan Deweerdt from Kortrijk Belgium.

Ammo plays ferocious US-style hardcore with a lunging, unhinged style that reminds me of groups like early Agnostic Front, Void, and Eye for an Eye-era Corrosion of Conformity… not so much in style, but in the way Ammo sounds like they’re maniacs who might materialize out of your home speakers in order to slash your throat. It’s a rare enough feat to capture this sort of wild energy on tape, but Ammo fuses this crazy energy with memorable songwriting, with tracks like “Black Site,” “Slam Slam Slam,” and “Ethnostate” hitting even harder because they’re so damn catchy. Sounding fast and crazy is Ammo’s forte, but their secret weapon is their ability to play at mid tempo, like on the crushing NYHC-style mosh part in “Known Unknown” and the singalong during the breakdown to the epic “All You Do (Is Want Me to Die).” I love music that expands hardcore’s boundaries, but Ammo isn’t that… they distill hardcore its essence, their sound ground down to the sharpness of a knife’s edge. [engl] After Operation have split up some members formed with their friends a new collective called "Protestera". In comparison to "Operation" they deliver more midtempo A-Punk, but nonetheless it's way more aggressive than Operation ever were. On top of it they added a drum machine to their line-up & somehow they managed it that it sounds like a real drummer!! Overall lyrical topic is the title "The Struggle Continues". The Lp comes with a 32 pages booklet filled with political lyrics and indebt explanations about the topics they're dealing with in both Swedish & English. Raging stuff!!

[engl] Antigen: Fast anarcho/crust punk from Prague (Czech Republic). This is their follow up to the critically acclaimed debut album Dust and ashes (2020). Think La Fraction and Burning kitchen!
