EL GUAPO STUNTTEAM
Accusation Blues

[engl] CHICKEN SNAKES sound is likened to old rusty train wheels, screeching down a lonesome track at midnight... Or a Gris-Gris charm made of dirty swamp water, a pinch of graveyard dirt, a few bottles of Whisky & Gin, The Devil and Sin, stirred with a handful of rooster feathers- until mixed well... Do you remember The Druids of The Gué Charette? The Electric Nettles share one side of a split record with them Pretty sure you also enjoyed “All the Darkness Looks Alive” (Druids of The Gué Charette, Beast Records, BR250). So who the fuck are The Electric Nettles? Easy: they’re also the Druids of The Gué Charette… Are you ready for a heavy fuzz psych garage trip?- Format

[engl] They played rock’n’roll like nobody else in Portugal during the middle 80’s. Played all around in the country, mixing blues, rockabilly and punk rock. For 3 years they planted the seeds of what would come next, influencing tons of other bands and musicians around, and left a long legacy till today. Formed in 1985 in Lisbon they start their wild and primitive rock’n’roll adventure in 1986 with the complete formation, making a legion of fans all around Portugal. In this LP we collected all the studio recordings, released only in a limited tape edition in 86, and some live recordings also. Dont matter if you like rock n roll, indie, punk, rap, hip-hop, soul or some other shitty kind of music, you will die to have a copy of this gemm, you gonna dance after midnight with the werewolves!!!!- Format

Assorted Anxieties
[engl] Excited to bring you the debut Erik Nervous LP, 'Assorted Anxieties, that comprises the Shipshewana Swimming (Demo) (including an outtake that wasn't on the 7 version), the winter cassingle, the Teen Distortion Junk Music EP, Ice Cream7", the Discontinuous Innovation tape, and the track off the Killed By Meth 2 comp. 'Funny word, ‘dumb’. And especially so when it comes to punk - kinda suggests the artist doesn’t know what they’re doing, or if they do, they’re too stupid to know any better. These are not charges you would wish to level at Erik Nervous, who knows exactly what he’s doing and is way too smart to play it any other way. And yet! And yet! The 24 songs collected on Assorted Anxieties are gleefully, wonderfully, brilliantly, heroically dumb. Three-chord odes on boredom, shitty jobs (and too many of ‘em at that), having no money and whatever else occurs to him at any one time, these songs are the perfect antidote (or maybe soundtrack to, or maybe riposte to) the relentless grind of the day-to-day, played with a frantic energy that recalls Wire circa Pink Flag, The Fall circa Grotesque (After The Gramme) and the rawest, simplest rock’n’roll you’ve ever heard in your life. Listen to the lyrics if you wanna engage your brain, bop along to the frantic garage-punk mania if you can’t be bothered with all that ‘thinking’ stuff. Either way, revel in a record that’s too clever to take itself seriously and too perfect to give a fuck. If this is what it means to be dumb, let’s all drop out of school right now.' s/t
[engl] If you heard Erik Nervous’ mighty 2018 collection ‘Assorted Anxieties’, you probably thought you had his sound pegged. Bruce Gilbert power chords, rickety garage shonk and a wilful primitivism that starts with a drum machine and ends with a heroically scuffed approach to melody – it all adds up to something pretty irresistible, of course, but what if we told you there was more to come? This time Erik’s joined by The Beta Blockers, and the sound they concoct together is utterly magical. OK, when this self-titled LP comes rattling out of the gate with 90-second barnstormer ‘Violent Dreams’, you may suspect it’s just an amplified version of the old stuff, albeit with full band, but trust me: you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet. Gravure sees ‘em tinkering with an angular skronk-funk that tilts an ear towards yer Minutemen, yer Bogsheds, yer Andy Gills (while ensuring both feet are firmly cemented to as many dumbass hardcore punk records as possible). The thoroughly unexpected ‘Blasted Heath’ brings synths to the foreground in masterly fashion, while the mutant dub of ‘Want To Not Wanna’ feels like a dust-up in a muddy puddle with an ashen-faced Pere Ubu. And there’s still more to come. It’ll keep you guessing, this record. It’s still recognisably the work of Erik Hart (for that is his true name), only distorted and further frayed at the edges. It’s the sort of snappily smart sidestep you wish more bands would be willing to take, while remaining within touching distance from their roots. Best of all, it places the Michigan-based wonder alongside fellow punk explorers like Uranium Club; utterly aware of punk/hardcore/post-punk/whatever’s past and its limitations, but determined to find the lesser-explored gaps that lie between and make them his own. Make no mistake, this is a mighty record. By the time the Saints-style brass of ‘Make Up To Break Up’ brings this frantically tense album within sight of a glorious conclusion, we’re in full party mode, ready to carry Erik Nervous around on a hastily-assembled throne before dumping him in a barrel of beer. If this is what expanding your horizons can do, let’s all set sail for the edge of the world immediately. Even if we fall right off the side, it’ll be worth it Will Fitzpatrick. limited on 200 Black/ 100 Green vinyls- Format

ESCOBAR
The Biggest Sound
[engl] Just one year after the release of their album "Bird of Prey", a rich year of touring, it is the release in Europe and the USA of their 3rd album "The Biggest Sound". We are proud to present ESCOBAR. It is a duet formed by Rémi (of Weird'Omen / Anomalys) and Charly (of the mythical band of the 90s The Bushmen / Daria). ESCOBAR rings the era of the return of Lo-Fi, the Grunge !!! "Wild and frenetic on stage, swing a punk electrified grunge garage and songs that remain in the head". In any case, experts in the field, Heatwave, Mowno or even Still In Rock agree that the band has experience of its influences and rewards to the minimalist, minimalist, a Rock'n'Roll Without concession and without plagiarism!- Format

2006 eigentlich als Soloprojekt vom A.H.

Let me take so far
[engl] After releasing more than a dozen of recordings Lonestar Recs is happy to release the new single with one of their most favourite bands on earth: the Flaming Sideburns, one of the most explosive live-acts to date. The finish Garage-rock institution! The great catchy tune "let me take you far" presents all their trademarks. You will recognize that the whole crowd is singing "all my friends dig Rock'n'Roll" and so do we. Special about this recording is: Stockholm's own Hellacopters did the background vocals for this 7".
