Well MANIC RIDE happens and especially their debut LP ”A New Low”. While their celebrated EP on Refuse Records had some type of read thread owing homage to the Portland scene with some BLAST influences here and there, MANIC RIDE really went for a manic ride in search for inspiration. You find traces of of places and years like Stoke-On-Trent 1981, NYC 1983, Santa Cruz 1986. Hudiksvall 1987, Portland 1990, Tokyo 1991, Oslo 1996. All that translates into Malmö Hardcore 2022.
