[engl] The second album from the fiercest swedish hardcore punk band has been unavailable for more than a decade and we're very happy to bring it back in 2023, 20 years after its inception. « In Darkness » was one of the most influential records in the very prolific crust / hardcore scene of the early 2000s, ten songs of a perfect mix of brutality and melody and a cover of Poison Idea's Say Goodbye. We were very honored to be able to release the European version of this record in 2003 and the enthusiasm is still real to be able to offer you this reissue 20 years later. The disillusioned rage and urgency of this album remain intact after two decades.

[engl] People will only be pushed so far before they snap. And then violence ensues. Followed by an immediate need for solitude. ‘Human Outline’ is what that feeling sounds like. Fists packed, boots laced, ready to destroy everything in sight. Wound Man has always been a band heavily influenced by the likes of Crossed Out and Infest, that’s obvious, but what really makes them stand out is a heavy doom undercurrent that doesn’t necessarily come out in the riffs but the darkness of it is there. No rip-off shit, just tangible depression given to angry action via alternating/direct current. And that is some magnificent ugliness.

[engl] The first Yacöpsae demo on vinyl. 21 songs from the very early phase of the Hamburg "Punk/ Powerviolence" institution recorded someone in `91. So duo is still active here. At that time probably the most brutal answer to the "Abstürzenden Brieftauben". This historical document contains a thick full color booklet with unpublished pictures, liner notes and other anecdotes.

[engl] Almost 25 years of YACØPSÆ … Time for a tribute? Not at all! The band still like the AMEBIX slogan: "No gods, no masters"! Nevertheless, YACØPSÆ was always well-known for brewing out some freaky ideas (just check their huge output and you'll know what we mean), so the concept of a "Guest room" EP was born, whilst we were hanging around somewhere and joking about how to celebrate the "next" anniversary! Actually, no big deal … Eventually, the band invited a bunch of different people from around the globe to "sing" for them. 15 tracks, each one lasting about 30 seconds, and placed twice (subdivided in two sides: male/ female). All participants had to create own lyrics and to record the vocals by their own. In addition, each person needed to write down a few neutral sentences about the very first encounter with YACØPSÆ, and sending a photo. Basically, the whole idea is not that new or original, though the list of our guests is impressive, so here we go

[engl] Official re-press of probably the best Yacöpase LP. Nothing can be faster than Hamburg's top turboboner speed herb violence master. They've been delivering stop-and-go hyperblasts of fast-paced hardcore rage for more than 25 years. The real key of how the formula short + fast + loud should be handled is all here. If you think, UK '77 style high energy punk rock doesn't fit together with raging high-octane power-violence/ thrash, here you got the counter evidence: Two - at first glance - absolutely different bands team up for the probably most unexpected split of the year! RAZORS, keeping the spirit alive since 1977, they're - without any doubt - one of the very first punk bands in Germany, and they still hit the pedal as far as it will go! Fasten seat belts, and get punched by their three songs of intense punk rock! YACØPSÆ, terrorizing the hardcore scene since 1990, and well-known for their short blasting eruptions, contribute two sludgy tracks of sheer fierceness and raw brutality! Putting two bands together with such different ways to express the term "punk rock" is a challenge, but on top they reach an impressively high level of pure energy and aggression, as you can hear on their live recordings. No effects, no overdubs - this is just the real deal! The CD contains from each band bonustracks. So don't miss it!

[engl] In 2012 on the legendary Wutzrock Festival in Hamburg Charles from ZZZ HACKER (well-known german punk band since 1980 from bielefeld) met the members from YACÖPSAE, both bands planning to release a split shirt together in the future. A few beers later, the split shirt idea was changed into a Split EP but with the sick particularity: "You play something from us; we have a few numbers of you". Sooner said than done (well, almost immediately), with the peculiarity that to this day both bands had no knowledge of what the other now so dovetailed. To the amusement of the producer and the label, now we have the product ready, you will find three tracks of each band!

[engl] The new output from these Japanese sicko’s number one, I don't mean their torture zombie movies and not their school girl fetish, I'm talking about Old-School-Death-Metal with a concept story about drunken Metal zombies (!). Scandal! This band's name is obviously inspired by an old DEATH song, Musically, they offer 10 tracks of rough Death Metal, somewhere between AUTOPSY and thrashing death grind in the style of later CARCASS. You are looking for solid thrashing gory death and Zombie Ritual does that well.
