BUNALIM
Bunalim
[engl] Turkish band Bunalim (Turkish for ''Depression'') is a true legend: they were the absolute wildest and crudest band from the Anatolian Rock scene. Under the wing of Cem Karaça, who was their manager and producer, they released a few singles which are all collected here. Fierce Turkish folk flavoured psychedelic- fuzz rock circa 1970- 72. Remastered sound, insert with liner notes and pictures. ''Even more brain- blasted than Erkin Koray's deliberately underground band that lived in a house together (Yeralti Dörtlüsü), these dirty nude guys were in all ways hairy, and they stacked their Selmer amplifiers just as high as any rock band you could name. Drink up the John Bonham drum fills, evil Sabbath guitar, and sickly brooding organ.'' (Angela Sawyer, Weirdo Records, USA)- Format
