"Les Rauchen Verboten" is a musical experimentation project made and performed by Jesús Alonso (drums in Corcobado and Motel 3) A.L.Guillén (guitar in Sefronia and Alondra Santori) and the mythical Justo Bagüeste (IPD, Chatarreros de Sangre y Cielo y Lijas) who contributes with his saxo and minimoog. In the five tracks of their debut LP, we will find compositions that swing between postmodern cabaret and a caustic jamming with echoes of Suicide, making us wonder what would have happended if the Cramps have continued as an instrumental band and Poison Ivy have bought analogical synthesizers to forget the pain.

[engl] Holy Moly !...Truly awesome collection of tracks from Spain's veteran Surf/Garage heads....These guys have been around now for a few years and are almost an institution in their native Spain...Dick Dale meets The Dead Kennedys (they do an instro cover of 'Kalifornia Uber Alles'). It's a BIG, big guitar sound with influences of 60's Punk and a bit of 80's Garage in there too. There are 5 albums out there (this is No 6) with the early ones quite expensive when you can find them !

To do this they’ve decided to use the sounds the Tiki God has inspired them with, and put them selves to the service of a magical machine called cinema.
