Love, Peace & Poetry Vol.02 Latin
Wollte man die Originale der auf "Love Peace And Poetry" versammelten Aufnahmen kaufen, man müsste wohl ein Vermögen auf den Tisch legen. Alle Songs der beiden Compilations stammen aus den späten 60er und frühen 70er Jahren. Inspiriert von Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Hendrix, Beatles und Zappa gründeten sich damals in den USA (und nicht nur dort) unzählige Bands. "Feed Your Head" hieß die Devise, und die Musik, die dabei in Kellern und Garagen entstand, war im wahrsten Sinne psychedelisch. 25 Jahre später sind diese Aufnahmen heißbegehrte Sammlerstücke. Mit "Love, Peace & Poetry American Psychedelic Music" werden einige der besten Bands dieses verloren geglaubten Kapitels der RockGeschichte erstmals einem breiten Publikum zugänglich. Das gilt auch für die Bands, die auf "Love Peace & Poetry Latin American Psychedelic Music" vertreten sind. Wer hätte gedacht, dass zum Ende der 60er Jahre auch in vielen Ländern Südamerikas das psychedelische RockFieber grassierte. Erst in den frühen 80er Jahren stießen Sammler auf Platten von Almendra (Argentinien), Los Macs (Chile), Dud Dugs (Mexico) und Ladies W.C. (Venezuela). Gruppen, die ihren nordamerikanischen Kollegen in punkto Einfallsreichtum in nichts nachstanden.- Format
