review by PNC Media: Scarlet Letter confuses me. There aren??t any good way to pin down this music into a genre or sub-genre even. This is complimentary of course, because you find yourself glued to the stereo, trying to find out how the hell they came up with that idea? Some songs have some of that good old thrash, others sound like Spazz. The thing is that the moment you think you have them figured out a great piece melody, or a totally unexpected break down comes prying at your head. The lyrics are well written and the liner notes helps explain the deeper intention instead of ruining your own interpretation. A really inspiring piece of work, this is good music in ugly packaging.

Todays Overdose is based on the foundation of Wolfbrigade. 4/5 of Wolfbrigade can be found in the band however Todays Overdose are looking more towards the US hardcore sceen and influences are bands as Poison Idea and Spazm 151, however never expect the bandmembers hearts would have given up on D-beat, this record containes just as much Swedish influences as before, just harder and more compact and in a great harmony with the US hardcore sound. This three song E.P is the bands debute 7" and is released by us at Wasted Sounds in Europe and is released by Profane Existence in USA.
