[engl] Blevin Blectum is a wordless sonic-world-builder, a sound designer situated precariously on a scaffolding of loosely precise and drastically personal time and structure - a creature of speculative sonic fictions. She has performed electronic music / multimedia worldwide since 1998. She also tours and records with her better Blectal half, Kevin Blechdom. Together they form the doubly-troubled entity BLECTUM FROM BLECHDOM. They tied for second prize in 2001, bagging the Ars Electronica Award of Distinction in Digital Musics (Linz, Austria) for their first full-length album The Messy Jesse Fiesta. Blevin Blectum's most recent collaboration is with her brother Kelley Polar, co-producing live radio play science fiction for violin, viola, electronics, voices, and theatrical objects. Her fifth solo album, EMBLEM ALBUM, released on the effervescent and always-spot-on AAGOO label on December 7th 2013, picks up where her critically acclaimed 2008 release GULAR FLUTTER left off. The Wire magazine (UK) tapped GULAR FLUTTER as one of its top 15 Electronic records of 2008. Blevin produces continued electronics with a more oblique slant on the basic BFB sensation of things-not-quite-right-here, clanking, creaking grooves and anti-grooves as a coal-powered spacecraft from some steampunk parallel universe potentiality, puffing and straining as it struggles to reach escape velocity, chopped, noise-reduced and timed/stretched to the breaking/boiling point, generally fucked-with samples of everything from hand-slapped rain-drenched leaves in courtship gardens and antique broken Beatnik banks to ProTooledFree classic utterly dance- able disembodied-blissful-transvestite-stand-up-comic vocals.

[engl] "A Single Rose" is the debut EP by Hheaven, the collaborative project of Morgan Enos (Hollow Sunshine, Other Houses) and Bryant Keith Bayhan (paperman). Kinetic and danceable, "Rose" is a blindingly colorful departure from either artist's previous work, diving headlong into the sounds of disco, electronica, and heavy beats. Written together one summer by producer/instrumentalist Bayhan crafting full-fledged compositional landscapes from lyricist/vocalist Enos' skeletal demos, the whirling, psychedelic songs of Hheaven are alternately lacerating and surreal, packed with addictive melodies, tirelessly operating in the service of the creative mind. [engl] Los Angeles based band Mind Monogram started out in 2014 as the passion project of vocalist/guitarist Edgar A. Ruiz, who wrote/recorded and self-released the band’s debut E.P. “Moments in Time”. Ruiz’s project has now come into fruition as a full band with the addition of members Christian Caro (guitar), Bryan Mejia (drums) and Billy Azurdia (bass) & have since then fleshed out a follow up E.P. this past April titled Maus. Mind Monogram now returns with their Debut LP “AM in the PM” for Aagoo Records. The Mind Monogram sound is fragile, reverb soaked psych-pop. It’s super honest, raw and sweet, it swings and has energy, it seduces... The songs are about; ‘LIFE', life in this moment now, life in the 'A.M. life in the P.M’. They almost sound a bit vintage psychedelic garage, with a serious late night, wind-down vibe. The LP was recorded in early 2015 with the help of Ruiz’s friends and ex-bandmates Richard Delgado (bass) and Julian K. Withfield (drums). Dust the cobwebs from your mind and turn up AM In The PM.
