[engl] Haven't listened to Butcher ABC in a while...? Fucking insane, blistering guitars, fucking tight drumming , never afraid to abuse double bass... Add to that legendary Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ vocalist Naru's sick and twisted, splattered, guttural vocals and you will get an infernal live eruption in the vein of old Pungent Stench, classic Bolt Thrower and Carnage material. These 4 tracks are recorded at the "Road To Hell vol.5 Festival" in june 2013. The EP comes in nice 7" Gatefold sleeve and is limited to 500 copies only.

[engl] Clotted symmetric sexual organ or C.S.S.O. was founded in 1993 and made an immediate impression with the grind/noise experiment, which works like a razor blade Q-tip. Like their contemporaries, the band has released a wheelbarrow full of splits and singles that are now being re-released on this double. Classics like the split 7" EP with Meat Shits, the tracks from the - "Grindwork" MCD, the split 7" EP with Vivisection, the split 7" EP with Demisor, the split 7" EP with Mastic Scum, the split 7" EP featuring Dead Infection, plus compilation tracks and unreleased material from the period, as well as four brilliant covers CARCASS, GENERAL SURGERY, REGURGITATE and NAPALM DEATH. What will really break your head is the fusion character of this kaiju mutation.The band combines styles like few on the scene and adds psychedelic distorted moments to a few tracks while the vocals pound like a Godzilla overdose, a really scary trip man! The whole thing then comes with an 8 page full color booklet, with pictures and other information .

This was the context in which Catharsis appeared, one of a new wave of bands to meld metal drama with the raw urgency of hardcore punk. They quickly distinguished themselves by an almost self-destructive intensity and uncompromising anticapitalist ethic. Inverting Christian iconography to champion the struggle of the individual against a hostile cosmos, they took up the centuries-old banner No Gods, No Masters, extending this project of total defiance into their increasingly tumultuous lives. This apocalyptic orientation in turn informed their music, as they sought to hit upon the magic combination of words, harmonies, and rhythms that could spark a global conflagration. Catharsis broke up in 2002, following relentless touring on three continents and a final catastrophic five months in Europe. After a decade of watching the old records sell for absurd prices while bootleggers profited off substandard editions, we’ve finally taken it upon ourselves to offer a proper collection of their work. “Light from a Dead Star I.,” includes their debut 7”, and "Samsara" LP, packaged in a gatefold cover with oversize booklet offering all the original artwork. “Light from a Dead Star II.” includes their “Passion” LP, split LP's w/ Gehenna and Newborn. [engl] A final limited repress of only 319 copies on Magenta & Black hazed vinyl! Comes with original artwork, insert and poster! CHAOTIC END formed in 1989 were the greek answer to AMEBIX and played a similar style of ultra heavy, atmofearic but shredding political crust and hardcorepunk. In my opinion they were one of the most convincing bands of that genre. This is their one and only vinyl-output they did in 1993 on Wipe Out Records. It captures the band on their high-point after two already excellent demo-K7s. Here the 3-piece deliver 9 songs of extraordinarily good Crust-Metal - 3 long brooding bits on the A-side followed by 6 heavy galloping anarcho-crust pieces with harsh and raspy vocals on the B-side. Music that makes no prisoners influenced by bands such as Amebix or Axegrinder on one- and Doom or the good old swedish mangel of the early 1980ies on the other end forged together to something on their own. In 1996 they sadly ceased to exist. In 2014 after 18 years of silence they picked up their arms again and played a convincing live-set – Ten years passed and the Band is still kicking ass with even a new LP under their belt! This is Greek CRUST at its best!

Howling feedback underscores the massive swirling riffs and relentless battery of drums. Foul, tumultuous vocals made entirely of the final exhalations of humanity really send this opus to the apex. A perfect band. For those unfamiliar, CØNDITIØN are a raging south Californian corpse-beat unit more akin to the likes of BASTARD than DISCHARGE. Fucking heavy. We couldn't be more excited about this LP. 800 copies on black vinyl come housed in a heavy duty tip-on jacket featuring art by Matthew Adis complimented nicely by a 24x36 poster insert with art by Abe Social & Madison East.

[engl] European pressing of this raging @-punk release that was put out on Tribal War Records early last year. Eric and Shelly from Catchphraze Records are among the members of Contravene, an action minded anarcho-punk band from Arizona. Powerful and slightly metaltinged music back up a female vocal charged assault with angry and well-written political lyrics. Mostly fast and upbeat but they're also not afraid to put in more melodic and calm parts That reminds me often of bands like Nausea on one, and early Chumbawamba on the other end. They do a great cover of One by One's "Common Ground" from the "In the Spirit of Total Resistance" comp.

[engl] Originally released by the mighty FLAT EARTH RECORDS in 1997, "Monuments" features 13 tracks of slow, heavy and menacing Anarcho punk played by these six lads from Wigan,UK. Touring excessively around Europe with their rusty Transit, CRESS soon became legendary for their infamous old-school Anarcho-Punk 1-2-1-2 drum tempo sound and chanted hard-hitting slogans to fuse it to the modern D.I.Y. punk sound! - Slow, heavy and menacing mayhem riding along the lines of ANTISECT, FLUX OF PINK INDIANS with a pinch of KILLING JOKE, dark tripped-out sound effects and keyboard, loads of anger aimed at the desecrators of our earth. Punk! Lyrics that are truly heartfelt and well thought out, straightforward and sincere, I can feel the compassion and conviction of the punk community when I hear these songs. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me going! It did so in 1997 and it does today! Nailed on my turntable.
